Hampering
V21's target of becoming the cheapest provider of an uncapped 512Kbps service in the UK, ISP
ADSL4Less has done the same, but for £2 less @ £14.99 per month (note: 1GB capped 'option' available for £13.99).
Sadly the website is sparse on detail, making it difficult to draw an effective comparison without including details on activation and hardware costs etc. Indeed there isn't even a legally required postal address listed, causing us to urge caution.
The provider claims to be sustaining the extremely low price thanks purely to a staggering £15m in subsidy and an aim of subscribing 35,000 new customers within the next year. Regardless, such money will not last forever and their aims are high for a relatively unknown ISP.
UPDATE: One reader has reported the set-up charge to be £50 +vat.
