Allied Business Intelligence (ABI) has predicted that 2004 could see global revenue from wireless (Wi-Fi) chipset shipments reach anywhere between 150 and 260 million euros:
According to ABI forecasts, in 2007, the number of UWB (Ultra Wideband) shipments will reach one-fourth of that of WiFi and other wireless chipset shipments, and the number of PLC shipments will reach one-third of that of WiFi and other wireless chipset shipments.
