The latest new provider to enter the UK ISP market is
Surfsense, which appears to offer a familiar range of broadband ADSL and metered (0845) / unmetered dialup services:
SURFSENSE
A new 'no frills' ISP launches today.
Offering competitive but not suicidal rates with 512 Home ADSL for £25.99 and unmetered dial up from £6.99.
For Business users ADSL starts at £39.99, plus VAT, with a 2mb connection for a competitive £59.95, plus VAT.
Business Dial up comes in various sizes and flavours from £15.99 to £46.50, plus VAT and all have a 7:1 contention ratio. Also available are 64k and 128k 1:1 connections priced from £130 plus VAT.
The best news from SurfSense is that all their agreements have a one month cancellation clause, even the ADSL contracts. The service appears to be a vISP (Virtual ISP), with many of the offers being, unsurprisingly, familiar to a number of existing providers.
