BT Preps 'Exchange Activate' ADSL

ADSLGuide reports that BTWholesales 'Exchange Activate' (EA) product has been given the green light for an official launch on 21st July. It allows smaller local exchanges to gain broadband ADSL without needing hundreds of pre-registrations:
It relies on a sponsor subsidising the ADSL charges for three years, and buying capacity in blocks of thirty users.
