Bulldogs Broadband Referral Scheme

Posted: 03rd Jul, 2003 By: MarkJ
Bulldog Communications has today followed a number of other UK ISPs by offering a 'Refer-A-Friend' style rewards programme. Such schemes allow existing customers to earn money by helping to signup new members:

Bulldog Drives Customer Endorsement Momentum Through Introduction of 'Refer-A-Friend' Rewards Programme

BulldogC ommunications, the high-speed broadband specialist, announced today the introduction of the Bulldog Refer-A-Friend Rewards Programme.

Bulldog, the only alternative DSL network provider serving both the business and residential markets, has doubled its sales performance each quarter since launching residential services in 2002. In that time, over 60% of its residential customers have selected Bulldog overo ther broadband providers as a result of online customer endorsements or direct referrals from friends and business colleagues. Bulldog continues to be highly rated on key UK broadband guide websites for customer service, as well as speed and reliability.

The Bulldog Refer-A-Friend programme, effective as of 1 July 2003, has been developed specifically to recognise and reward customers for their continued support and ongoing efforts to promote and recommended Bulldog's broadband services.

Under the terms of the rewards programme, Bulldog customers receive a £20 credit for each new referred customer who successfully signs up to Bulldog's PrimeTime, BizTime and AllTime (excluding AllTime 500) products. Unlike some other rewards programmes, there is no limit to the number of referrals that can be made.

Interested Bulldog customers can visit the Refer-A-Friend section of Bulldog's website, http://www.bulldogdsl.com/residential/refer.asp , to view the terms & conditions of the programme and register their referral contacts via the website. These may be new customers to broadband technology or existing users of other broadband services who are looking for higher performance and betterv alue.

Bulldog's Customer Operations Manager, Stephen Woodruffe, stated, "Right now is an excellent time for existing customers to recommend Bulldog services. With the recent introduction of a 6 Mbps PrimeTime 6000 service on Bulldog's central London network, together withn etwork expansion of the residential grade 1 Mbps and 2 Mbps PrimeTime and AllTime products to over 200 additional exchanges across the South East, Bulldog's DSL broadband offer has never been more compelling. And, with 1 Mbps service prices starting at just £24.99 (£ 29.36 inc. VAT) per month, Bulldog continues to be the price-performance leader."

Richard Greco, CEO of Bulldog, stated, "Bulldog's creation of the Refer-A-Friend RewardsP rogramme gives us the opportunity to directly thank our customers for their continued support and loyalty, and underlines our commitment to providing best value products and the highest standards of customer care."
