Having only just announced the launch of their new broadband satellite ISP service last week,
2point4 has now withdrawn it.
2point4 had been intending to resell the Jetstream (Eutelsat Eurobird) service from BusinessCom and include a 3 month minimum contract term.
Apparently the service supplier (SCS Broadband) has now asked 2point4 to either accept some new terms, which would include a 12 month minimum contract and higher costs, or cease trading - rather blunt.
In short 2point4 has now chosen to remove their current offers because, they say, the supplier has no intention of enforcing a significantly higher contract length and greater costs onto customers, especially since it only applies to UK residents.
