UK ISP Zetnet has today announced the introduction of its new all-in-one broadband ADSL business package. The offer combines a modem, router, free activation and firewall for office ADSL (20:1) @ £39.99 +vat PM:
All-in-one business package solution for ADSL broadband
Zetnet, the UK's oldest independent ISP, is pleased to announce the availability of the Zetnet all-in-one ADSL broadband business package solution, with a combined modem, router and firewall for office ADSL (20:1). Prices start from £39.99 ex VAT per month and include free broadband activation.
Zetnet's all-in-one package offers three different types of router, dependent on the costumer's needs. The package includes free broadband activation, two microfilters, a fixed IP address, with an ADSL contention ratio of 20:1. Users also benefit from having the basic Zetnet Internet package which includes five email addresses, plus
50Mbytes of web space and backup 0845 dial-up access.
Option 1: ADSL modem-router with single Ethernet port, USB port and built in firewall. There is no connection or activation fee, and the rental is
* Office 500 £39.99 per month or £419.90 per year ex VAT
* Office 1000 £52.50 per month or £545.00 per year ex VAT
* Office 2000 £69.99 per month or £719.90 per year ex VAT
Paul Martin, Zetnet's Technical Director, commented that "for the solo user this a ready-made solution, with the peace-of-mind of knowing that you have a modem-router with a firewall built in. This means the business user can take full advantage of broadband."
After the first year, the cost drops to
* Office 500 £29.99 per month or £299.90 per year ex VAT
* Office 1000 £42.50 per month or £425.00 per year ex VAT
* Office 2000 £59.99 per month or £599.90 per year ex VAT
Option 2: ADSL modem-router with four port 10/100Mbps Ethernet switch and built in firewall. No need for an additional hub/switch. For this option there is a one-off upgrade charge of £18.00 ex VAT on top of the monthly or annual cost of Option 1.
Paul Martin commented further, "This solution gives you access for four computers simultaneously, or you can connect up to four other hubs and switches to it."
Option 3: ADSL modem-router with integrated Wireless LAN access point and four port 10/100Mbps Ethernet switch. The cost of this is a one-off upgrade charge of £69.00 ex VAT on top of the monthly or annual cost of Option 1.
Paul Martin commented further, "This comes with an 11Mbps wireless LAN access point conforming to the IEEE802.11b standard with 128-bit WEP security. You can have up to 256 wireless users connected without having to wire the office up, with the flexibility to change your workspace as you need."
