BT Broadband Targets Golfers

Posted: 27th Jun, 2003 By: MarkJ
BT has teamed up with Deepsync, a rights management group, in order to better target the UKs 4.4 million golfers with its BT 'No Frills' Broadband ADSL product:

Deepsync represents GolfSpan.com, the golf tuition site, which allows users access to 500 educational videos from 15 top PGA instructors, including Colin Montgomerie's coach.

The two companies will launch a co-branded offer on 20 July to increase the 2m broadband connections in the UK by targeting golfers, to help them improve their game.

For £27 per month, golfers can access GolfSpan for 15 months via a newly-installed high speed internet connection. As part of the offer, users do not need to pay a set-up fee, receive three months' membership free and a complimentary golf instructional DVD.

It's worth it for the complimentary golf instructional DVD alone =). We wouldn't be surprised if BT now starts targeting other specific groups, such as fishing, snowboarding and cooking. More @ Europemedia.
