UK ISP Internet Access Point Ltd (IAP) has launched something similar to BTs ADSL pre-registration system, a national 'broadband wireless' registration scheme:
Internet Access Point Launches National Registration Scheme
Internet Access Point Ltd (IAP) has today unveiled it's national registration scheme aimed at enabling towns, villages and communities for broadband internet access.
IAP have been delivering wireless broadband for over 2 years and have developed a robust system with multiple service levels that can be deployed into almost any area in 24 hours, making it the most flexible broadband system available for both home and business users.
IAP deliver broadband using terrestrial services that do not rely on satellites, because of this our customers can enjoy extremely fast connection speeds and low ping rates making it suitable for any form of internet traffic, there are no bandwidth restrictions, no time restrictions and no cut offs.
IAP will start rolling out coverage into new areas in the next few weeks, areas will be selected on a number of criteria, the main requirement will be for an area to reach a minimum level of 150 registrations.
