By: MarkJ - 28 January, 2004 (9:34 AM)

UK ISP Nildram (Lobsterpot etc.) has set out to improve its customer support services by appointing Martin Molloy as its new Customer Services Director:

New Customer Services Director for Nildram, Trinité and Lobsterpot

One of the UK Internet industry’s great success stories, AccentUK, through it’s Nildram, Lobsterpot and Trinité brands, has seen unprecedented success and growth as one of the UK’s leading providers of Broadband Internet access technology. In order to continue on this path, the organisation has recently recruited a number of key senior staff members to provide direction and focus into the future.

A key factor in the organisations success has been a focus on Customer service – something AccentUK has an industry wide reputation for providing. However, the group is aware that it cannot rest on it’s laurels and must continue to focus on the ‘customer experience’ if it’s reputation in the market place is to continue. With this very much in mind, Martin Molloy has joined the team as Customer Services Director.

Martin brings a wealth of experience gained within the telecoms and Internet industries – his most recent post being Head of Broadband Customer Service at BT Openworld, where he was responsible for the call center support for over 300,000 UK Broadband users.

As part of his new role within AccentUK’s senior management team, Martin will be responsible for inbound sales, order and account queries plus 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support across the organisation. Leveraging his previous experience and expertise, Martin is already making his mark!

Martin Molloy commented: "I'm delighted to have joined the AccentUK family of Brands - an organisation renowned for delivering high standards of customer service within the Industry.” He added: “My role is to improve the experience that customers have when using services provided through the Nildram, Trinité or Lobsterpot Brands, even further. This is an exciting challenge and I am sure that the team we have within AccentUK will rise to meet it."

This appointment follows a move last year into larger premises in rural Buckinghamshire and is part of a strategy of planning for, and managing, exceptional growth – key factors in sustaining a high growth rate whilst maintaining high standards of service and customer care.

Sean Stephenson, Managing Director added: “Martin’s arrival represents a milestone in the organisations huge growth – maintaining our traditional focus on customer care and developing it as a core element in our future development as an innovator and Broadband leader.
