Mobile Data Tops 1Billion Page Views

The Mobile Data Association (MDA) has reported that WAP (mobile Internet) managed to muster up over one billion page views (impressions) during December 2003:
This figure shows an increase of 50 million on Novembers total and provides the highest monthly total ever.
The total, from GSM network operators O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone, takes the daily average to 33 million, compared to 13.5 million per day in December 2002.
In 2003, the MDA recorded a total 9.2 billion Wap page impressions and expects that figure to grow to 13 billion for 2004.
