Following an earlier report, Telewest Broadband has now issued an official press release confirming its coverage of the Crawley, Horley and Redhill areas:

UK's fastest home cable internet connection comes to West Sussex
Telewest Broadband is bringing digital TV and high speed broadband internet services to an additional 40,000 homes, upgrading its network in Crawley, Horley and Redhill. The cable company is beginning its planned programme of expansion this month.
Philip Snalune, director of TV at Telewest Broadband, said "We're responding to consumers who have been asking us to make digital and broadband internet services available and we're keen to satisfy this demand."
Telewest Broadband offers a choice of excellent value digital TV and telephone services. A range of broadband internet services will be available from 512kbps and 1Mb, to the blisteringly fast 2Mb blueyonder broadband - the UK's fastest home cable internet connection.
New or existing customers wanting to sign up to digital TV or broadband internet services can call 0800 499994 or visit www.telewest.co.uk to check availability in their area.
The upgrade does not require extensive construction work in the public highways.
