Once again the governments ‘Office of National Statistics’ (ONS) has published its monthly statistical report, this time up to December 2003. Internet subscriptions increased by 0.8% between November and December last year.

Dialup use decreased by 0.6% for the same period; continuing the trend of previous months. Little surprise to see broadband gaining an additional 5.3%, meaning that a fair number of 'new' (none migrating) users joined over the short period.

Year on year overall Internet subscription growth from December 2002 to December 2003 stood at 6.5%.
