Posted: 05th Mar, 2004 By: MarkJ
The Mobile Data Association (MDA) reports that 1.2 billion Internet pages were viewed via mobile phones during January 2004; double that of the same period in 2003:

Figures, collected from operators O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone, reveal that 38 million web pages were viewed per day in January, which is double the 17 million pages viewed per day at the same time last year.

According to the MDA, the number of web pages viewed from mobile phones will increase again this year, with expectations of a figure of 13 billion pages by the end of 2004.
