Hot on the heels of a rather unfortunate power outage, UK ISP
Gio Internet has today announced the offering of broadband ADSL Internet access for £9.95 per month for the first 3 months and £15.95 after that:
Broadband for Dial-up Prices
Broadband for only £9.95 a month
The pioneer of cheap Broadband in the UK, Gio Internet, has launched Broadband for only £9.95 a month. The three year old ISP shocked the ISP market when it launched its Broadband services for £17.99 back in October 2002 and now another Broadband service which costs only £9.95 a month for the first 3 months and £15.95 after that. This move has been welcomed by Internet users to help more people taste the benefits of Broadband.
The new £9.95 Broadband service is up to 3 times faster than a normal dial-up. This introductory package will help users understand the benefits of Broadband before the commit to a higher speed package. Once the user has signed up to the £9.95 service they can switch to faster services at the click of a button with absolutely no downtime!
The larger ISP's need to follow Gio Internet's example and lower their prices to help more people reap the benefits of Broadband.
