By: MarkJ - 19 January, 2004 (2:39 PM)

UK ISP BTOpenworld has announced price cuts of up to 199 across its range of business broadband Plug & Go ADSL services, although the offers are only available until 31st March:

Businesses signing up to a range of high-speed internet services during the first quarter of 2004 can cut their start up costs by up to 199. Any customer registering online for BT Openworld's Business 500 Plug & Go will be offered free activation and a free modem, saving 150.

BT Openworld's Business Plus 500, 1000 and 2000 range and Broadband Share 500 product will come with free activation and a free router if ordered online. This means savings of up to 199 per service. The router also comes wireless enabled, and with a high quality firewall built in. These offers apply to any customer signing up to these broadband services before March 31, 2004.

Businesses signing up to BT Openworld business broadband will also continue to get free activation across the range of Plug & Go products. "SMEs signing up to broadband are giving themselves a head start over the competition," said Jerry Thompson, director, Business Internet Services at BT Openworld. "Better communications with customers, partners and employees, and access to the Internet at speeds of up to 40 times that of standard dial-up are advantages that cannot be overlooked.

Our latest special offers provide another incentive for small businesses to get online with high-speed internet access. This will help to boost further broadband take-up amongst the small business community and help SMEs to punch above their weight in the face of cut throat competition,
" Thompson concluded.
