UK business ISP Entanet has enhanced its connection to the London Internet Exchange (LINX) by increasing the capacity to a whopping 1GigaByte (Gb):
ENTANET UPGRADES LINKS TO LINX TO 1GB
Entanet, one of the UKs leading providers of business Internet services, has upgraded its connection into the London Internet Exchange (LINX) to 1Gb to increase its capacity and make room for further growth in its business. The upgrade also ensures that existing customers will continue to enjoy the highest levels of performance when communicating with servers on LINX.
Previously, Entanet had two 100Mbps lines into LINX. The additional capacity that the 1Gbps link provides will ensure that hosting customers continue to receive the highest levels of performance says John Tsai, Vice President of Entanet.
The company has recently installed a fibre ring between three locations in London a further investment in its infrastructure that will guarantee Entanet customers first class performance.
With rack space in server suites now located within three separate prime co-location buildings in London Docklands, and an enviable professional data centre in its Telford Headquarters, Entanet now has the capacity to host thousands of servers and thousands more websites, with full power backup with a diesel-powered 265kVa generator and full off-site data backup.
Entanet is consistently rated amongst the top three hosting providers in the UK, as measured by Zeus Technology and Internet magazine, and is continuing to invest in its services and network to ensure that very high standards are maintained.
