BT has launched a new summer promotion that cuts an impressive £80 off the cost of signing up to its capped 512Kbps 'Basic Broadband' ADSL service:
BT SLASHES PRICE OF BROADBAND IN SPECIAL SUMMER OFFER
Customers signing up from May 20 until July 20 2004, will get their modem and installation normally £80 absolutely free.
This offer is additional to BTs current broadband offer for consumers - a flight to the US or Europe for all new consumer broadband customers.
These initiatives are part of BTs commitment to offer customers value for money services at compelling prices and making Broadband Britain a reality. They are expected to play a significant role in driving BT Retail customer numbers ensuring that BT is the clear market leader in the retail sector.
Duncan Ingram, managing director, BT Openworld, said: This deal offers a full speed 512k broadband service for under £20.00 per month and once again confirms our commitment to offer our customers the most innovative service offerings and deals in the sector, those that combine reliability with value.
It is these factors which will help ensure we maintain our strong position in the market well into the future.
Ingram added: As customers become increasingly web-savvy and sophisticated in their choices, ISPs must realise that one size most definitely does not fit all, and that there is more to broadband than just speed.
Broadband is also about personalisation, flexibility and choice, qualities designed to make the internet work for the individuals and businesses alike, not vice versa.
