ISP Telabria is currently in the process of deploying a new mesh based broadband wireless telephony and Internet access service to the rural South-East (e.g. Kent) of England:
Telabria's infrastructure is based on hardware from wireless telephony manufacturer P-Com's Speedlan 9000, a family of broadband wireless routers featuring 128-bit encryption for mesh, star and point-to-point deployment.
Jim Baker, Telabria president and chief executive, told vnunet.com: "The service will be available in Barham in Kent and a number of other rural areas in the south east."
Baker declined to confirm the exact price, but said that a figure of £30 a month would be "about right".More @
