The latest broadband satellite ISP to appear in the UK has just announced itself to us -
2point4.
In their own words, it's "

The service offers four packages with speeds of 256Kbps (33.81 Euros Per Month), 512Kbps (49.40 Euros), 1Mbps (65 Euros) and 2Mbps (107.62 Euros). Each appears to have a respective bandwidth allowance of 300, 500, 800 and 1,500mb.
There's also an activation Cost: 63.37 Euros / 3 months minimum contract.
"
2point4 aim to provide a high quality satellite broadband package to users throughout Europe. Although our site is as yet incomplete"
The service also reports in its attempts to bring a broadband wireless solution into the broadband market: "
We also hope to bring Wireless Access to our local remote areas that have been overlooked by larger broadband providers."
