e-Network Management (e-NM) has announced the launch of yet another UK broadband satellite ISP - JETSTREAM:
JETSTREAM Satellite Broadband from e-NM - Anywhere and Everywhere
e-NM have launched their satellite broadband service JETSTREAM, which means that wherever you live in the UK you can now enjoy the benefits of Broadband Internet at affordable prices.
Latest Government figures show over 34% of the U.K. population, approximately 20 million people, are still not able to gain access to broadband services such as ADSL and cable.
"The majority of communities and businesses without broadband connections are mainly in rural locations" says Tony Storton, Business Manager for e-NM. Tony goes on to say "Our own experiences at e-NM with customers in rural locations have shown us the difficulties a business
can have without a fast internet connection, so we are very excited about launching this service in the U.K."
The e-NM JETSTREAM broadband service allows you to easily download information rapidly from the internet and is available in the following four service levels:
- e-NM JETSTREAM 256 : 256 kbps download service for £21 per month*
- e-NM JETSTREAM 512 : 512 kbps download service for £31 per month*
- e-NM JETSTREAM 1024 : 1024 kbps download service for £41 per month*
- e-NM JETSTREAM 2048 : 2048 kbps download service for £71 per month*
* Prices excluding V.A.T.
For more information visit: http://broadband.e-nm.co.ukIt's clear from the description and price that Jetstream is another one-way service, which also appears to use the Eurobird satellite.
Note that the USB Home installation + hardware costs £370.13 inc VAT, yet there's also a PCI Card Self-Installation version for £252.63 inc VAT.
We couldnt find any information regarding bandwidth (download) limits, although that doesnt mean to say that they dont exist! The service may also work with an existing Sky (TV) dish; however any interested parties should contact the ISP about this first.
