BusinessCom Internet via Satelite has today clarified their '
unlimited' policy, which formed part of yesterdays BlueStream Broadband announcement.
BlueStream Broadband is a one-way satellite ISP service; the original press release stated: "
offers unlimited downloads at speeds up to 2 mbit/s providing guaranteed traffic quota for each month." Mr Usatov has kindly defined exactly what this means:
There are no restrictions on protocol utilization, user may browse, download and share his files on peer-to-peer networks.
The connection speed is guaranteed for the first 300 Mb(256 kbit/s package)/500 Mb (512 kbit/s package)/800 Mb (1024 kbit/s package)/1500 Mb(2048 kbit/s package) per
month. When user reaches this quota, our system switches him to unlimited traffic non-guaranteed speed mode.
