James has sent us a quick message to say that his freeware ADSL router information and control software, NetSpeedo, has been updated: "
I've added a few new features (plus fixed some bugs, obviously :) and added support for some other routers."
The author is also "
keen to add support for other routers, and I am looking for any volunteers out there that might be willing to help with adding support for their router."
For those that can't remember what the software does then here's a quick description:
NetSpeedo is for those of you, who are you using ADSL routers, that would like easy access to various information about your current internet connection, without having to type a single command into a telnet application.
NetSpeedo can also maintain your internet connection history, so that you can keep track of how much you use it, plus it also provides a simple way to restart your router, either automatically after downloading or uploading a specified amount of data, or manually as and when you choose.http://sling.to/cooltoys
