ADSLGuide has managed to obtain a response from BT regarding the suspension of FreeDial's non-existent-in-the-first-place broadband ADSL service. FreeDial has blamed its problems on BT for sometime now; it wouldnt be the first:
BT denies that it is responsible for the problems experienced by FreeDial's customers. BT has no involvement in any cancellation arrangements between FreeDial and its customers.
In view of FreeDial's indication that it intends to take legal action, BT does not consider it appropriate to comment further. Any legal action will be vigorously defended by BT.Clearly this throws the concern and confusion back into FreeDial's side of the court, making their previous statement look less than honest.
Of course BT has, in the past, always denied that anything is ever their fault. Unfortunately we're now left with even more unanswered questions.
