T-Mobile is to extend trials of its broadband wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) Hotspot services to a further 21 Starbucks stores around the UK. The latest expansion should be complete by the end of May:
It launched its T-Mobile HotSpots in five Starbucks stores in London and one in Birmingham, to allow customers to check their email, access the corporate intranet and surf the Web at speeds of up to 20 times faster than standard dial-up access.
From 31 March, the company will will offer four pre-pay tariffs to customers that want to use the service, starting from £5.50 per hour to £47 for a monthly pass. T-Mobile has a dedicated customer service team that supports the service.Hopefully Laptops and PDAs wont mix too closely with the food and drink =). More @
