Nildram has issued a new press release announcing itself as the latest service to offer broadband in a box, yet its not quite what you think..:
Broadband in a box from Nildram
One of the UKs highest performing Broadband Internet Service Providers, Nildram, have today announced yet another improvement to their ever popular Broadband portfolio.
Nildram is introducing an exciting new product particularly focused at customers looking to connect a network to the Internet via Nildrams Broadband services, as well as single PC users looking to take advantage of the benefits a router provides over a Broadband Modem.
Whilst many Broadband Service providers can supply the necessary connection hardware, Nildram have taken a fairly unique approach in the marketplace by providing Broadband Modems and Routers as part of a Managed Service. This service has provided the hardware on a monthly rental basis with full support for the equipment, including swapping the unit out if it fails, giving complete peace of mind particularly to those customers who dont want to get bogged down with worrying about their hardware. This has proved very popular with customers and, as a result, Nildram have launched a new initiative to promote the advantages of using a Router both for businesses and home users.
The service, based around the proven and popular Zyxel 645R router, is now available for a set-up fee of £75 plus VAT and no monthly rental users choosing the Managed Router option can get up and running with a Router and ADSL connection for a combined set-up fee of only £100 plus VAT by also taking advantage of the half price Broadband set-up fee offer running until the end of March.
At the same time, Nildram have been able to apply improved economies of scale to the provision of Broadband Microfilters, which have been reduced to only £8.50 plus VAT.
Whilst many Broadband users are happy to find and maintain their own hardware, we have found that there is a significant number of potential Broadband users to whom the idea of a no worry hardware provision is very appealing. With this change in the pricing structure we expect this service to become even more popular! commented Iain Ogilvie, Nildrams Marketing Manager.
