ONS - Dialup Market Share Declines

The latest Office of National Statistics (ONS) Internet report (covering the period to September 2003) has found that dialup access continues to decline (-0.3% between Aug & Sep'03) while broadband has increased (+6.1% between Aug & Sep'03).
Consequently the overall (Internet users) month-on-month change between August and September 2003 was higher than normal at +0.9%, with 19% (up from 18.1% in August'03) of the total number online using a broadband connection.
