Bulldog Launch Sub-£30 1Mbps ADSL

UK ISP Bulldog Communications has today announced a selection of new promotional offers on its broadband ADSL service(s), including their AllTime1000 1Mbps ADSL package for just £24.99 per month. Free modem and or half-price activation deals are also highlighted:

Bulldog Communications, the high-speed broadband specialist and alternative DSL broadband network operator serving both the UK residential and business markets, announced today a selection of promotional offers for new customers. During September, Bulldog's AllTime 1000, offering up to 1 Mbps downstream speed, is now specially priced at £24.99 per month (£29.36 inc. VAT). This offer will enable new Bulldog customers to get up to twice the bandwidth for about the same price other broadband providers charge for a standard 512 Kbps service. In addition, Bulldog is offering the choice of a free modem or half price connection charge to new customers who sign up for any of Bulldog's wide range of high-speed 1, 2, 4 and 6Mbps broadband services. These offers have been specially tailored to attract both new and existing broadband customers looking for minimal upfront equipment and/or connection fees and high-bandwidth services at attractive prices.

The Bulldog free modem offer features a ZyXEL Prestige 630 USB ADSL modem. The modem comes with one microfilter, an installation CD and set-up guide. The total retail value of the equipment package is £46.98 (inc. VAT) and remains subject to a shipping charge of £6.50 (£7.64 inc. VAT). The ZyXEL DSL modem is compatible for both PC and Mac users. Those broadband users who already have a modem can instead choose the half price connection fee of just £24.99 (£29.36 inc. VAT).

Bulldog's high-speed broadband services (1Mbps or above) that are eligible for the promotional modem and half price connection offers include: Bulldog's BizTime, which features the 'business-grade' 20:1 contention ratio; Bulldog's AllTime, with all-day-long high-bandwidth at an attractive 40:1 contention ratio; and Bulldog's PrimeTime, which has the unique time-of-day feature and an industry-standard 50:1 contention ratio. The promotional modem and half price connection offers do not apply to Bulldog's 512kbps services, which include AllTime 500 and BizTime 500.

Bulldog's AllTime and PrimeTime 1 Mbps and 2Mbps services are available across an extended network of 450 exchanges. The footprint covers the Greater London area, the South East and major city centres including Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, and Cambridge. These 450 selected exchanges cover approximately 500,000 businesses and over 8 million homes.

Bulldog's BizTime 1 and 2Mbps services are available through any DSL-enabled exchange throughout the UK, reaching almost 1 million businesses and in excess of 18 million homes. These exceptional promotional offers are also available to new Bulldog customers who sign up for Bulldog's 4 and 6Mbps services, the fastest DSL-based broadband service available to the UK residential broadband market. These ultra-high-speed services are available on Bulldog's core central London LLU (Local Loop Unbundled) network, covering 50,000 businesses and nearly 400,000 homes.
