BT DELIVERS BEST CONSUMER OFFERS ON BROADBAND YET

BT has announced new offers on its broadband products allowing customers to benefit from its market leading solutions at competitive prices.

From October 1, 2003, through to December 21, 2003, modems for the Broadband products (BT Yahoo! and BT Broadband) will be free if bought online. If purchased offline they're at the reduced price of £40. Activation must be before January 21, 2004.

Pierre Danon, chief executive of BT Retail, said: "Broadband continues to be at the heart of our strategy and delivering the benefits of our solutions to customers at a good price is paramount to us. Wherever it's possible for us to make broadband more accessible to people, we will.

To deliver on our promise of 5 million broadband users by 2006 means we'll continue to improve and demonstrate the benefits that broadband can bring to the home and the workplace,
" he continued.
