Besides strengthening their deal with search giant Google, ISP AOL has also made changes to its own 'internal' search engine technology:
AOL Search, which the company claims is used by three out of four AOL members each month, has been enhanced with new navigation elements and a better display - results are now easier to read as the font size has been increased and search terms appear in bold. It also has a new toolbar available to download.
The company also improved its entertainment search features, allowing users to find music videos or listen to new singles online. Local searching capabilities have also been improved, with AOL now able to display listings of businesses based on their proximity to a postcode.More @
