BusinessCom, the UK broadband satellite ISP, has announced the launch of a new one-way Internet access service on its SESAT satellite. The package offers speeds from 64 to 4096Kbps (4Mbps), with unlimited usage for the available bandwidth:

The system reminds many one-way DVB services present on the market today - it is unlimited with available bandwidth from 64 kbit/s up to 4096 kbit/s, except one thing - we keep customers aware of how throttling occurs, why it occurs and how much throttling they will experience and for how long. This enables users to understand what they are paying for and what bandwidth to expect in any given moment.
Thus, we see that this service will be of high demand to offices or corporate users of any scale, including small Service Providers.
For example, Corporate-512 service has a throttling limit of 90 Megabytes of data per hour. The minimum guaranteed speed on Corporate-512 will be 204 kbit/s, the maximum speed is 512 kbit/s.
