Freeserve launches free Advice Line, aimed at helping users find the right Internet package
If you dont know your Broadband from your Narrowband, dont worry, youre not alone. Freeserve has conducted research which shows most Internet users are confused about which Internet package they should be using, and to help them, the UKs Number 1 ISP is launching a free Package Advice Line.
When customers call the Package Advice Line, a friendly Freeserve Adviser will ask them about their current Internet use and behaviour, and based on this information, recommend which of the UKs most popular Internet packages they should be using No Ties, AnyTime or Broadband. As well as offering free advice over the phone, Freeserve is introducing online and in-store Package Adviser facilities.
Explaining the thinking behind the campaign, Keith Hawkins, Freeserves Consumer Managing Director said, Our new Package Advice Line is a much needed customer innovation in this sector. There is so much conflicting information out there about different Internet packages and many Internet users are genuinely confused. What were doing is offering customers real advice so they get the product that is right for them, were not trying to sell them the most expensive product.
Launching on 1st October, the new advice line is backed by a marketing campaign including new TV advertising so consumers will have no problem finding the number - 0800 74 74 74 - they need for free Internet advice.
The theme of advice is central to Freeserves new TV, radio and press campaign breaking this autumn. It communicates the ease and clarity of the Freeserve Package Advice line, and the range of products that Freeserve offers to help ensure people get the right type of Internet connection - a theme that will be reflected online, in store and in direct marketing.
