Wyre Forest ISP Launch Blade Server

Wyre Forest Computer Solutions (WFCS) game (multiplayer) styled ISP, Pulse Gaming, has completed stage one of their switch to using 'high density' blade server technology:
Pulse Gaming the game service provider run by Wyre Forest Computer Solutions (WFCS) have completed stage one of their switch to using blade server technology.
These high density servers, which allow up to 10 dual Xeon servers to be run in a single 4 'u' chassis allow Pulse to further improve the level of service being provided, a service which is already being heralded by many as one of the best in the UK. The new Xeon Blade servers will hold up to 10 servers with games being distributed across the processors to maximise on ingame performance. WFCS have partnered with Nexcom, one of the world's leading providers of applied computing platforms.
Paul Sillars, MD of WFCS says, "Blade technology has allowed us to dramatically improve the performance and service we are able to provide to our customers, along with freeing up valuable rack space. We have been very pleased with the feedback that our service has received from the gaming community so far. Through our close collaboration with Clan ONE (one of the UKs top gaming clans) we have been making excellent progress in fine tuning our systems. We will be continually monitoring the progress of these servers over the next few months, and if successful we will be looking to introduce them into our main web hosting environment."
