BISCit has announced a new partnership with Samsung to distribute their range of XIOD modems. Unsurprisingly the provider has introduced a new package, which includes Samsungs modem for FREE:
The HOME PLUS package includes a FREE Samsung XIOD USB modem along with one free Samsung XIOD microfilter. Priced at just £25+VAT per month this sees a strengthening of BISCit's presence within the home market.
There are two new modems, a USB and an Ethernet model.
The USB model modem acts like a Broadband enabled LAN adapter, rather than a USB modem. By having greater intelligence, it crucially ELIMINATES then need for you to 'log-on' each time you switch on your computer.
The Ethernet modem acts like a single port Router, and is capable of both Network AND Port address translation, and has in-built features such as a DHCP server, and RIPv2, so an Internet broadband connection can be easily shared with more than one computer via a suitable hub/switch.
BISCit's James Marshall said; We are very pleased to have such a strong tie with Samsung. BISCit saw the potential of this equipment immediately and we have been working closely with Samsung from very early on. To date we are the sole distributor of these products save from Samsung themselves.
We believe that these modems are of superb value for money and we are so excited about them, we have launched a pack which actually gives one away free so people can see for themselves how good they are.
