Unfortunately I've ran into technical problems recently and the support I've had is terrible. For a start when you call the customer support it is just an answering service. Someone will take your contact details and tell you someone will be contacting you back shortly. This can be days or just never and you then have to call them back and complain.
Recently something changed on their network which has caused poor routing which has led to poor latency. A problem for gamers like myself. I've been back and forth with Wildanets support for weeks now. I've escalated to management but I don't really get anywhere with them. They tell me they are going to do some tests and then never get back to me.
Now they are trying to tell me that there's no issue with their network and they can't control the route outside of their network. Even though the routing issue is with Cogent, a company they use and pay to handle their traffic.
As soon as there's another Gigabit provider in Torpoint I'm moving away from Wildanet. It's a real shame. I thought having a local ISP would be great. But unfortunately the company, under Helen Wylde and Paul Buttery's leadership, is failing.
