Software giant
Microsoft has announced that the latest version of the world’s most common website browsing software, Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), should surface sometime later today. IE8 claims to feature improved privacy modes, performance, new security enhancements, better searching, tab grouping, page zoom and significantly better web design standards compliance, among other things.
Despite the improvements over IE7, Microsoft's new browser still remains below many of its chief rivals (Opera, Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome) in terms of rendering performance and some other areas. Never the less it should be a necessary upgrade for users of Windows XP and Windows Vista (not the Win7 beta).
