UK ISP Be Broadband ( O2 ) has introduced a new 12 month contract option for all products. The move means that those taking the new 12 month deal will not have to pay the £24 connection, yet those opting for an old-style 3 month contract should see monthly prices rise by an extra +£2.50. The 3 month option has also been completely removed from their cheapest

To help mitigate what many might see as a price rise, Be are offering the first three months of broadband service completely free when taken with one of their new 12 month contracts. However the offer will only be valid on new signups until 30th April 2009.
