Star has launched a new business email service. The product is based off a dedicated Microsoft Exchange 2007 platform and promises a real world service level agreement (SLA) of 99.9%. The secure service is also managed and supported by Microsoft accredited engineers around the clock, every day of the year.
James Griffin, Head of Hosting Strategy at Star comments, “The launch of Star Business Email’s Dedicated Exchange service underlines our commitment to providing the right solution to meet the requirements of our customers. It’s the perfect fit for companies looking for a fully supported and cost effective way of managing email, with access to the latest Microsoft email technology.
It’s a different proposition to the Star Business Email service offered to our SME customers at £8.99 per user per month, as it allows a truly tailored solution for the enterprise sector where integration into third party systems, such as CRM and ERP software is critical to their needs.”
Pricing is available on application, as it is subject to any specific requirements. User costs decrease on a sliding scale in line with the increasing number of email users supported. A typical example for a system supporting 500 business email users with 1 GB mailboxes would be £7.65 per user per month.
