Mobile operator Vodafone UK has expanded its range of Mobile Broadband and laptop bundles to include the Acer Aspire 5535. The bundle itself costs a whopping £40 per month and includes the laptop alongside Vodafone's 3GB (monthly usage allowance) Mobile Broadband package on a 24 month contract.
Laptop Specification:
15.6" 16:9 Widescreen LCD Display
AMD Athlon X2 QL-60 CPU
3GB RAM
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic OS
Integrated DVD+RW / DVD-RAM Optical Drive
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3200 Graphics
250GB Hard Drive
Integrated 0.3 Megapixel Camera
3DSonic Stereo Speakers
We've seen the laptop being sold separately for over £330 and the Mobile Broadband package by itself would set you back £15 per month (not counting existing special offers). It seems like £40 per month is rather excessive for what you get, though until the new deal is showing on their website it will be hard to check.
Vodafone's website is also running a number of other Mobile Broadband discounts, including a "
first three months free" deal on their £15 per month 3GB (24 month contract) option. The operators £25 per month 5GB (24 month contract) package has also been reduced to £15 for the first three months.
Finally you can get their £15 per month 3GB (18 month contract) service for just £10 monthly during the first three months, although the USB Modem (Dongle) costs an extra £28.38 on that one (free on the others).
