Popular UK ISP IDNet has today become the latest provider to launch a new range of up to 24Mbps (ADSL2+) broadband packages (1.4Mbps upload) with bigger usage allowances. Prices start from just £14.67 per month (12GB usage allowance) and can also be bundled with voice line rental from an extra £10 per month.
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new up-to-24Mbps ADSL2+ broadband services, offering more bandwidth and extra low latency at no extra monthly charge* to our standard ADSL Max services.
All of our new ADSL2+ packages offer a potential downstream connection of up-to-24Mbps and up-to-1.4Mbps upstream - dependent upon the quality and length of your telephone line and whether your local exchange has been upgraded to support ADSL2+. We have also doubled the peak download allowance on some and added generous off-peak allowances too, effectively at least tripling the overall download allowances.
*Upgrades incur a one-off fee from BT of £12.65 including VAT, which we pass on at cost. However we will waive this fee and give you a month free if you choose to pay annually (this does not lock you into a 12 month contract - if you choose to leave IDNet during the year then we will refund you for any fully-unused months).
Typically all packages come with free (0800) UK support calls, anti-virus/spam email filtering, webmail, unlimited uploads, no traffic shaping or port blocking, short 1 month contracts, a static IP and free inbound migration. New connections are charged at the standard rate of £46.
