Specialist Apple Mac-only broadband ISP
MacAce.net has won the coveted "
Best Mac-Friendly ISP" award at this year’s
MacWorld Awards. The little known provider managed to topple stiff opposition from some of the biggest names in the industry, including O2 , Sky Broadband , Virgin Media , TalkTalk and Zen Internet .
Gary Hall, CEO of MacAce.net, said:
“I’m delighted that our hard work in the quality of our customer experience in areas such as technical support, speed and reliability has been rewarded with such prestigious recognition. As it’s voted for by the readers, this shows how highly our internet services are valued by our customers. I would like to thank my staff for their unfailing efforts and all who voted.
We think different to most ISP’s and try to provide a service we ourselves would hope to receive – this is a tradition we won’t be changing, just improving upon. Because our customers number in thousands rather than hundreds of thousands shows just how much positive praise our service has achieved when it goes to a straight reader vote.”
MacAce is a relatively small UK ISP with a nationwide ADSL2+ 24Mbps network using BT’s 21CN infrastructure. Its core network is in Telehouse London, not to mention major points of presence in Manchester, Bristol and Cornwall.
