Mobile operators O2 and Three (3) have both launched a series of new Mobile Broadband discounts from half price USB Modem's (O2) to service price cuts (Three). The new deals and promotions have all been summarised below.
Three (3)
1. The price of Three's ZTE MF627 Pay As You Go (PAYG) Mobile Broadband USB Modem has been reduced to just £19.99. Naturally you'll need to top-up the modem with a data usage allowance (valid for 30 days from activation); these come in flavours of 1GB for £10, 3GB for £15 and 7GB for £25.
2. Interestingly Three (3) has also cut the price of its Ready to Go pack to £39.99, which bundles the same USB Modem above with 3GB of pay-as-you-go usage. On the surface this looks to be £5 more expensive than buying them separately, though one key difference is that the data allowance lasts for 3 months instead of 1. There's also a 15GB pack for £97.86 that lasts for 12 months.
3. The monthly 5GB Mobile Broadband service plan has also been reduced to £15 per month and £9.99 for the USB Modem.
O2
Customers signing up to one of O2's Pay As You Go (PAYG) Mobile Broadband packages before Monday 29th June will be able to get a USB Modem for half the usual price at just £14.67. Prices start from £2 for a 500MB (0.GB) usage allowance valid for 1 day + Unlimited Wi-Fi and go to £15 for 3GB + Unlimited Wi-Fi valid for 30 days (1 month).
