Mobile operator Three (3) UK has replaced its
Samsung N130 netbook and Mobile Broadband bundle with the new
Dell Mini 1012 alternative (costs under £300 when purchased separately). The bundle is available with a 1GB or 5GB usage allowance and a free Huawei E1750 USB Modem (both 24 month contracts); £17.50 and £25 per month respectively.
Specification
•Intel Atom N450, 1.66GHz
•10.1" High Definition (1024 x 600)
•1GB memory
•1.3MP Web Cam
•6-cell Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery
•160GB Hard drive
•Wi-Fi
•2 x USB ports, 1 x HDMI port
•7 in 1 card reader
•Microsoft Windows 7 Starter 32 bit
As usual we’d like to point out that the Netbook is not "FREE" as some other reports might claim. When taken separately the 1GB and 5GB Mobile Broadband packages with a 24 month contract cost just £7.50 and £15 per month. Unlike many similar deals this netbook does at least come out cheaper in the bundle than when sold separately.
