Broadband.co.uk has released its latest anecdotal monthly broadband speed testing results for June 2010. The average download speed for the largest UK ISPs has remained virtually unchanged since May 2010 at 4.957Mbps.
Cable giant Virgin Media UK once again comes out on top with a best broadband download speed of 9.281Mbps, regaining most of the ground it lost after May's result of 8.744Mbps. O2 ( Be Broadband ) continues to hold second place on 5.616Mbps, a minor drop over May's result of 5.757Mbps.

4. Sky Broadband – 3.804Mbps

7. Orange – 3.215Mbps
8. Eclipse Internet – 2.921Mbps
9. AOL – 2.655Mbps

1. O2 ( Be Broadband ) - 0.756Mbps
2. Virgin Media - 0.609Mbps
3. Sky Broadband - 0.492Mbps
4. BT - 0.467Mbps

The overall average UK upload speed performance once again remains virtually stagnant but did finally move past the 0.5Mbps milestone with a score of 0.508Mbps. Sadly PlusNet continued to languish in bottom place for the second month in a row.
