Internet access provider PlusNet, which recently won an ISPA award for customer service (
here), has begun offering new customers
3 MONTHS FREE service on any of their Value, Extra or Pro broadband packages, at least until the end of August. Customers need only enter the promotional code
treat3 during signup to claim the discount.
Note that PlusNet's normal prices are charged based off Ofcom's "
Market" 1, 2 and 3 classifications. This is directly connected to BT regulation. For example, customers living in Market 3 areas have plenty of ISP choice and thus services are usually cheaper.

We note that around 80% of UK homes should be able to get PlusNet's cheaper Market 3 prices. Put your phone number into our '
Broadband Coverage Checker' to find out which market your line falls into. We also note that the free router only applies if you join under a 12 month contract and those who do not take a phone line service from PlusNet may also have to pay an extra £25 connection charge.
