Wholesale voice and data communications provider, Entanet UK, has secured its third successive ranking in the
2010 Sunday Times Tech Track 100; an annual listing that looks at technology, telecoms and digital media companies’ compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over the latest three financial years.
Entanet recently saw 37.97% annual sales growth, increasing from £10.3M in 2006/7 to £27.2M in 2009/10, and has thus managed to place 89th in the rankings. Entanet’s ranking comes just a week after the Company was listed for the second year in The Guardian’s
2010 Tech Media Invest Top 100.
Interestingly there were fewer broadband ISPs in this year's Sunday Times listing, down from around 10 to 6. The others being Timico (58), Cambridge Broadband (59), Elite Telecom (74), Griffin Internet (76) and The Cloud (91). Timico, Griffin and The Cloud are also no strangers to being listed in the Tech Track 100.
Sadly others, such as Geo Networks (7th last year), Murphx (acquired by Daisy Group PLC and subsidiaries cannot be part of the listing), O-bit Telecom and Vtesse Networks didn't even place in 2010, which is despite some being quite prominent in last year's ranking.
