The UK
Internet Service Providers Association ( ISPA ) has today launched its thirteenth annual ISPA awards. Registrations to enter the
2011 ISPA Awards, which will be held this year at a new venue - the
Lancaster London Hotel - on 7th July, are now open.
Companies, which have until February 4th 2011 to register their intent to enter, will compete in
13 categories including '
Best Consumer Fixed Broadband ISP' and '
Best Mobile Broadband' operator.
Two new categories have also been created for 2011, '
Best Managed Service' and '
Best over the Top TV', while last year's safety award has been expanded and is now the '
Internet Safety & Security Award'.
Nicholas Lansman, ISPA Secretary General, said:
"As the voice of the internet industry for the last 15 year ISPA has seen the industry develop and since 1999 we have hosted the ISPA Awards to mirror that success. 2011 is the 13th annual awards and, as in previous years, we expect to see that the innovation and passion for providing quality services is as strong as ever."
