Internet and phone provider TalkTalk UK has today launched a fresh promotion that offers new customers a half price broadband service for the next 12 months and FREE Connections. The deal applies to both TalkTalk's 'Essential Package' (reduced from £6.99 to £3.49 per month) and its 'Plus' (reduced from £14.99 to £7.49 per month) services.

The move appears to have been designed to help turn the ISPs recent spate of bad fortune around, although it'll probably take more than lower prices to achieve that. Indeed many customers would prefer the ISP to concentrate on improving their service and support quality. The new offer ends on 7th March 2011.
