ISP Virgin Media UK Issues Broadband Upload Speed Boost Progress Report

Cable giant Virgin Media UK has confirmed that nine additional areas of the country can now benefit from its free national rollout of faster broadband upload speeds, which was first announced at the end of September 2010 (here). The new locations are listed below.Latest VM Upload Speed Boost LocationsCustomers can expect to get at least double their original upload performance with the free speed boost. Sadly, under Virgin's current rollout plan, some users will still have to wait until September 2011 before being able to receive the faster performance. A number of locations are also still in the "planning" phase and have yet to receive an upgrade date.
