O2 UK Launch New Guru TV Help Channel for its Mobile and Broadband Products

Mobile operator and ISP O2 UK (Telefonica) has launched a clever new video help service (O2 Guru TV) via YouTube. The channel offers all sorts of free support and advice to help customers get the most out of their mobile technology and fixed line Home Broadband services.
O2 Guru TV is open to everyone, although admittedly a lot of the advice is only applicable to O2's own specific systems, hardware and software. Everything from router setup and security guides to basic mobile tasks (i.e. how to send a text message) appears to be covered. Several other ISPs, including BT Retail, have similar channels on YouTube.
Sally Cowdry, Marketing Director, O2 said:
"O2 Gurus are our most passionate and knowledge experts and can translate complex gadgets into something that everyone can easily understand. We know how much customers value our in store Gurus and with the launch of O2 Guru TV we’re making it even easier for anyone to get technical help and advice from O2."
O2 has clearly put a lot of work into the service, which is bound to help customers who are more familiar with navigating YouTube than the bowls of their broadband router or mobile phone menus. The operator also promises to add over 50 new videos every month.
